Merino Family Law is dedicated to guiding clients through complex family legal matters with expertise and compassion. Led by Katina (Kat) Merino, an experienced family law attorney, the firm handles cases involving property division, alimony, child custody, support, second-parent adoptions, prenuptial agreements, restraining orders, and post-judgment issues.  

Kat is known for her strong advocacy, clear communication, and client-focused approach. She earned her law degree with honors from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she served as Research Editor of the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal. She also worked in the Civil Justice Clinic, assisting low-income clients with immigration matters.  

A fluent Spanish speaker and graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Kat brings a broad perspective to her practice.
